Welcome to wingsForLiving!

But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they will mount up with wings as eagles;
they will run and not be weary; they will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

My wish for you is a life where you continue to learn (there is so much to learn, and to learn about), where your learning leads to positive changes in your life and the lives of those around you (change can be a very good thing), and where you can mount up with wings as eagles: above the circumstances, negative people and life struggles to which so many succumb; where you can run and walk without becoming weary or fainting. In short, where you can soar! You can have a life of victory and freedom.

This is wingsForLiving, an umbrella page directing you to various areas of information: things I have studied and what I am learning. The major theme of this site is learning, changing and overcoming,
and flying high in life.

I am a Christian wife and mother interested in many things,
and these webpages are an attempt to share what I am learning.
After all, “There’s an affective, an emotional and a physical side to learning, which religious traditions have taught us, whether it’s scholars

of the Torah or monks reading in a monastery.” (Dr. Justin T. McDaniel) Learning is good! But as a teacher I find that learning and
sharing is even better. I hope you will find something here to
inspire, educate, uplift and even challenge!
The Blog—wingsOfLife
I probably won't write every day. Sorry for you serious blog junkies, but I suppose I don't have that much to say. Except about some things—so on some days I will blog and on others I won't. And I won't stick to just one topic, either, but I'll tag subject areas and links to related pages to help you figure out what I'm talking about. After all, living encompasses many, many areas, and all are subject to investigation. Fortunately for me, no compliance on your part is required, and you may even find yourself entertained. Head on over to wingsOfLife.

I'd love to move into guest blogs, so if you have something to say, let me know and I'll give you a spot!
